For families and young people

At St Luke's, we greatly value our contact with young families, and we have several activities specifically for children and families run by our Family Worker, Helen Whyman, with help from other church members. Email Helen.

Family Church
For children with their parents/grandparents/carers. Third Sunday afternoon of each month (except holiday times) at 4.00pm for about 2 hours. Craft and activities, then a short time of lively worship in the church, ending with a meal together in the hall. Fun for all the family. The next Family Church will be on October 20th. £1 per family.

First Sunday of the month service
We aim for the 10.45 morning service on the first Sunday of the month to be particularly family-friendly, with 'Sunday Club' for the children from 10.30am.

Bucky Babies
2nd and 4th Monday of the month,1.00pm to 3.00pm. It is primarily a group for parents with babies. £1 per family.

Songs and Stories
On Tuesdays after school, from 3.30 to 4.15pm. For 0-7 with parents/carers. Term time only.

Cradle Days
On Wednesdays 9.30 -11.00am during term time. For parents/grandparents/carers and their pre-school children. Crafts & activities, a time of stories & songs, with a light snack. Meets in the downstairs hall. £1 per family.
